How long does it take before a transfer reaches my payee’s account?

For bank transfers (ACH) to a payee, if the transfer is initiated from the Novo app before 2:15 PM EST, the funds will reach the payee’s account within 2 - 3 business days.

For Express delivery bank transfers (ACH), funds typically arrive the same day. Click here to see the timing windows for Express delivery ACH transfers.

For mailed checks, the payee will receive the check in 10 business days. After that, it is up to the payee to deposit the check. The payee’s bank will then likely take 1-2 business days to process the deposit.
