We pay in the order of smallest to largest items (based on presentation). Unlike most traditional banks, we are not in the business of making money from fees, but paying out all overdrafts will put us into debt. The law permits us to pay items (such as checks or drafts) drawn on your account in any order we see fit. We will do everything we can to prevent you from being charged multiple times for an overdraft. However, if there is not enough money in your account to pay for all of the items presented, an overdraft fee is usually necessary.
What can I do if I do not have enough money in my account to cover my transactions?
