There are four balance numbers in your Novo account to be aware of:
First and most important is your Available Balance. This is the total amount of funds in your account that is available to spend. Your Available Balances does not include funds you have stored in Reserves.
Next, you have your Pending Balance. Pending balance includes all deposit items on hold at that point in time. Your pending balance does not include pending outgoing transactions, as these can be canceled prior to having an impact on your Available Balance.
Next, you have your Reserves Balances. You can learn more about Reserves here, but the important thing to know is that funds in Reserves can be spent if a purchase is greater than your Available Balance.
Finally, you have your Overall Balance. This is simply the sum of all other balance items combined, and represents the total amount of money you have deposited at Novo.
