If a recipient was created in the Wise interface, Wise does not require the user to enter a physical address. However, in order to transfer with USD as the source currency, a physical address is required and this causes the error message when making transfers from the Novo app. Here is a workaround so you are able to transfer funds to your payee:
- Log into your Wise account: wise.com/login
- Click ‘Send Money’
- Click ‘Single Payment’
- Create a transfer to the desired recipient. You can pick any dollar amount, we won’t actually finish the transfer.
- When the recipient is selected, you will be prompted to enter their physical address.
- Once a physical address has been confirmed, proceed to the next step.
- Exit the transfer process. This should save the physical address permanently for that recipient, and transfers via the Novo app should begin working as intended.
