Adding a payee to your Novo account is simple and can be done from both the mobile and web app.
In the Mobile App:
- Go to the ‘Move Money’ tab
- Select ‘Make a U.S. Payment’
- Select ‘Add Payee’
In the Web App:
- Go to the ‘Send Money’ tab
- Select ‘Add a Payee’
Once you’ve selected to add a new payee, you can either enter their information manually or send them a request to complete it. If you choose to enter the information manually, you'll select the payment method and enter the required banking details.
Before sending a payment, please make sure your payee’s information is accurate and up to date. Ensure that the details are entered exactly as they appear on your payee’s bank account. This includes their legal or business name, account and routing numbers, and any associated addresses. Providing incorrect or mismatched information may result in delays in processing the payment.
